Get the Perfect Picture!
The quality of the reference photo is the most significant part of the portrait process. I will need a well-lit, in focus close-up of the subject. Please provide me with the best possible photo that you have, multiple photos are welcome. A simple E-mail of your favorite photo is all I need to get started on your portrait!
When taking photos, outside natural light is best, but not direct sunlight. If you are not able to take your subject outside, try to find a source of natural light, like a window. The best looking photo is one taken at eye level with the subject. Animals work best with treats and favorite toys to capture their attention. Take as many shots as you can to ensure your chances of creating that perfect picture.
If you have any questions, I will be happy to assist you in any way that I can.
